Welcome to EHSS

Eden Higher Secondary School, Thilixu is a co-educational institute that has been providing high quality education to the students all over Nagaland for over two decades. The school was founded by Shri. Nikhevi Yeptho in the year 2002.

It started as a Primary School with very few number of students and now it has grown to become a full- fledged school with an enrollment of thousand students that offers classes up to 12 standard. The school is affiliated to NBSE

Message from Principal:

The all-round development of our students is of utmost priority at Eden Hr. Sec. School. Thilixu which is why, Academics, Co-curricular, Extra-curricular and values go hand in hand With ”Zeal to Zenith” as our school motto, we strive to instill in our young students the zeal to achieve and success in life. We aspire to produce right thinking and responsible citizens who will be an asset to our society. For all these, we have a team of like-minded teachers who work tirelessly to bring them to fruition, and we couldn’t be more grateful to all of them for guiding our students towards the zenith.

Message from Headmistress:

“ Learn as much as you can while you are young, since life becomes too busy later “and “learning is the only treasure that will follow its owner everywhere”. Teaching to me is all about nurturing young minds, I encourage true freedom of expression, and winning the hearts of the students for if they like the teacher they will like the subject automatically,.I also expect a mutual respect and a sense of responsibility in my students In every child there is a world waiting to be explored and to teach them is a touch of life forever not only in knowledge but holistic education as well, like co-curricular activities ,sports and life skill- learning With the coming of (NEP 2024) it has further pushed education into grooming every child into the best human being, self driven and ready to take up any role that comes his or her way Along with teachers, parents are the primary educators of child, so devote your time to children ,shoulder the responsibility together along with teachers and aim higher for our children and lead them towards our school motto “Zeal to Zenith” striving for the highest laurel in life. Our greatest strength comes when we appreciate each other’s strength when we learn from each other and lean on each other. Parents and teachers together can make a better tomorrow for the students and never feel complacent for what we have achieved, as future challenges are always there, but let’s stand strong committed to the same I wish my students to have fond memories of their time in school, long after they left I want them to remember their roots and always “Stay Humble”.
